Went up with Rob on the first lift at 9 o clock to make the most of the foot of fresh snow that had fallen yesterday and during the night.To start with the cloud was low and the visibility poor.We had afew runs on the marmotte as it was abit clearer low down.As the weather improved we where the first down the marcassin a un-pisted black run and made some mega tracks!!! In fact we pretty much skied the area out with very few others giving it ago.
Met up with the others at midday,Dan and Georgia head off to Les E. while Mag, Rob and I head over to the La Ros.It was windy at the top of the Le Roc Noir ,Rob and I then had a brilliant run into the big bowl to the left of the Roches Noires Express lift (a huge offpiste area),the only problem being along button lift out!!!Mag and I make it out but look back and Robs nowhere to be seen.We ski back down to find Rob sitting in the snow having just caught an edge on his snowboard and dislocated his knee - a old problem of his !!!He then had a hair raising trip back to La Ros in the 'blood wagon' being pulled by a snowmobile!!!After seeing the doctor I picked him up in our van and we went back to the appartment for a fresh ice back from snow from the balcony and dinner!!!! Well that was the end of Robs boarding but luckily we shared some of the best snow we have ever had !!!! Dan and Georgia then walked to the La Ros market while Mag and I went out for the last hour missing the last last lift back from La Ros !!!!
